This Project was born from MZ«s mind (also in LOCUS MORTIS & URNA), with the purpose to propose an atmospheric doom, permeated by obscurity and melancholy with tragic and hallucinated shades. Inspired by Esoteric and the most visionary parts of Shape of Despair in a personal manner. The Concept is based upon the swedish writer August Strindberg and his novel "Inferno", his most obscure and tormented opus, after this he left the writer role to become an Alchimist. His life near to madness and tormented by mystic visions where he found the prophecies of his own master: E. Swedenborg author of the texts called "Arcana Coelestia". His Opus are considered "cursed" and still nowadays are permeated by an aura of mystery.
Progetto nato dalla mente di MZ (anche LOCUS MORTIS & URNA) alla parte strumentale, con l’intento di proporre un doom atmosferico, pregno di oscurità e malinconica con sfumature che raggiungono stati tragici e sovente allucinogeni.
Riprendendo a livello musicale per certi versi le fosche influenze degli Esoteric e dei più visionari Shape of Despair rilette in chiave personale. Il Concept è incentrato sulla figura dello scrittore svedese August Strindberg e il suo romanzo "Inferno", il suo più oscura e tormentato epitaffio artistico, dopo il quale infatti abbandonò la prospettiva letteraria per dedicare i suoi giorni all’alchimia. La sua vita, trascorsa ai limiti se non oltre la soglia della pazzia, fu tormentata da visioni mistiche nelle quali identificò le profezie che il suo maestro E. Swedenborg predisse nei suoi sinistri testi denominati "Arcana Coelestia". Le sue opere considerate a ragione "maledette" vengono ancora oggi recluse in un limbo, quasi ammantate dalla "maledizione esistenziale" che tormentò l’autore.
